Ahmad Fora, MD
Dr. Ahmad Fora is a Board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist and has been practicing for more than 10 years. He received his medical degree from the Jordan University of Science in Technology. He completed an internal medicine residency at the University at Buffalo and then an oncology-hematology fellowship at Roswell Park Cancer institute in Buffalo, New York.
He chose to pursue a career in oncology because of the fulfilling combination it provides, including treating patients, educating house staff and participating in patient-oriented research. Dr. Fora’s approach to patient care is founded on establishing a shared decision-making environment where he delivers personalized evidence-based care that incorporates the patient’s values and preferences. He carries the mentality of treating patients as he would like to be treated.
Dr. Fora received the Gold Foundation Humanism and Excellence Award for best teaching resident in 2008 and since then, has had many publications and presentations appearing in nationally recognized meetings.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer and racket ball and spending time with his family.
